Stelko Electric successfully completed an extensive upgrade project for Stellantis KEP, improving both the fire alarm system and telecommunications infrastructure.
The project included the installation of approximately 20 new IDF cabinets throughout the facility, each equipped with 480V power and single-mode fiber connections. Around 1200 Cat6 network drops were added to machines and workstations, along with Cat6A network drops to approximately 40 access points.
The existing Siemens fire alarm system was removed and replaced with a complete new JCI system. This upgrade included all new plant devices, new node panels, and fiber optic cabling from the head end to all field nodes. New fire alarm cabling was installed to all devices, ensuring a robust and reliable safety system.
