Department Project Management/Estimation

Primary Responsibilities

Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and blueprints
Preform estimates at different level of design (conceptual, design development and construction documents)
Visit job sites and attend pre-bid meetings to clarify scope and prepare estimates
Compose proposal/scope letters and submit to customers
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion
Working knowledge of the codes and standards related to electrical installations
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

Requirements:

Candidate must have over two years of estimating experience in the electrical industry
Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word applications
Experience with Accubid estimating software (or similar estimating programs)

Working knowledge of electrical installations.
Journeyman Electrical License preferred, but not required

Preferred Skills/Estimating Software:

Accubid, EBM, McCormick and/or MC2
