The Fabrication Admin supports the Fabrication Department by maintaining schedules, tracking materials and inventory, and assisting with ordering, billing, and job documentation. This role works closely with warehouse, detailing, and field teams to coordinate deliveries, vendor communication, and fabrication reporting, helping projects stay organized and on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Update the Fabrication Schedules
  • Update what is actually in storage and organize it in the barns, Fab Schedule and Shipping Schedule
  • Produce and distribute job prints and job stickers for the Fabrication Department
  • Order Material for the Fabrication Department.
  • Assist WHSE Admin in Pricing, Billing and Filing on the J Drive Fab Reports & material used in the Fab Shop
  • Assist with Fabrication Reports & material used in the Fab Shop
  • Fill out Field reports for T&M jobs
  • Approve MC&MC VMI Acknowledgments in ECMS and follow up if needed for missing Acknowledgments
  • Schedule Deliveries from Fab Shop for site via MCE, Mc-Mc or Caniff
  • Update Remarcable w/Fab Shop Accounting Info, Vendor Deliveries
  • Create Fabrication Quotes and monitor billings
  • Create T&M Sheets when needed for the Fabrication Department
  • Input VMI Entries from the clip boards
  • Deal w/ vendors concerning with fab work and the VMI
  • Assist the Detailing Department when needed
  • File paperwork in the proper job files
  • Help the communication process between the warehouse and fabrication.
  • Assist in any other duties requested by your manager
